It is an honor to introduce and thank George R. Moraitis Jr. for attending Broward County’s 8th Annual BBQ & Brew — a cherished event that brings together conservatives and Republicans while showcasing and promoting small businesses in our community.
George Moraitis is a distinguished leader with a lifelong record of service to his country, state, and community. A Fort Lauderdale native, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1992 and served honorably as a U.S. Navy submarine officer during the Kosovo conflict, earning numerous military distinctions. After retiring as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserve in 2012, George continued his dedication to public service as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. During his tenure in Tallahassee, he held key leadership roles and earned high marks for his principled conservative values and commitment to his constituents.
In addition to his political service, George is an accomplished attorney, practicing real estate, probate, and estate planning law in Broward County. He remains active in the legal and local community and serves as an elder at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church.
Now, with his recent announcement of his candidacy for Florida’s 23rd Congressional District, George continues to exemplify leadership, integrity, and a steadfast dedication to the principles of freedom, prosperity, and responsible governance.
We are grateful for George’s presence at the BBQ & Brew and for his ongoing support of conservative values and small business in Broward County. His service, experience, and vision inspire us all to remain engaged and committed to building a stronger future for our community and our nation.
