As we look ahead to 2026 and prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we are reminded of the bedrock principles that formed this great nation. At the center of our founding was not just a Declaration or a Constitution—but also a deep and abiding faith in God’s Word.

That’s why I want to thank each and every one of you who has already stepped forward to support the Day of the Bible at the Florida State Capitol in 2026. Your encouragement and prayers are making this powerful mission possible.

But we’re not finished yet.


A Historic Opportunity at the Florida State Capitol

In 2026, we plan to bring an original copy of the First American Bible to the Florida State Capitol—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see and honor one of the rarest and most significant artifacts in American history. This Bible is not just a religious text—it’s a founding document.


Did you know?

📖 The First American Bible, printed by Robert Aitken, was the first English Bible made in America.

📖 It was the only Bible ever officially approved by Congress and recommended to the American people by the U.S. Government.

📖 It was printed just six years after the Declaration of Independence and five years before the Constitution.


This Bible was born during the fires of revolution, as America cut off trade with Britain and had no access to English Bibles. Congress recognized the need and approved Aitken’s printing—affirming that faith and the Bible were essential to the education and morality of the people of this new Republic.


Gifting Our Leaders a Reminder of Their Roots

In 2026, we will be personally gifting replicas of this First American Bible to each of Florida’s:

  • 40 State Senators

  • 120 State Representatives

  • 5 State Executive Officers (including Gov. Ron DeSantis and Secretary of State Cord Byrd)

  • 7 Florida Supreme Court Justices


When these elected officials hold this replica in their hands, they will hold a physical reminder that our Founders believed in a Godly influence on government—not a separation from it. They will see that the First Amendment was never meant to silence faith, but to protect it.


Help Us Reach Our Goal

We need to raise $20,640 to print and distribute 172 personalized First American Bibles.

We are looking for 21 Pastors, Business Leaders, or Patriots across Florida to donate $1,000 each.
